Summary

Penguin presents the unabridged, downloadable audiobook edition of The New Case for Gold, written and read by James Rickards.

In The New Case for Gold, James Rickards explains why gold is one of the safest assets for investors in times of political instability and market volatility and how every investor should look to add gold to his or her portfolio. Drawing on historical case studies, monetary theory and his personal experience as an investor, Rickards argues that gold should be a part of any prudent investor's portfolio.

The Fed is owned by The Banks

An off mainstream view of gold. Rational views explained with reference to historical evidence. Well worth a listen to add another tool to your disaster management tool belt.

Ooh! So Darn Enlightening.

I had no idea things were this dire.

I feel better informed and see the value in buying physical gold.

This is now a solid part of my investment strategy.

There is so much insight in this book. Fascinating!

Great book for Goldbugs

This is a great book which lays out the case for holding a portion of your wealth in Gold and Silver. It covers the history behind gold and silver as a metal, the historical effects of inflation as well as how to go about investing in gold. Much like James Rickard's other books I would highly recommend this.

Compelling, fact based and unapologetically honest

Jim's understanding of monetary policy, fiat currencies history and insider information of government behaviour makes his new case for gold hard to argue against. He cleverly combines simple facts, statistical evidence and complexity theory to paint a clear picture for a new case of the oldest, truest form of money. I cannot wait to get stuck into his two other books.

A must read for every investor!

I like that Jim covered all aspects of Gold, the good the bad and the ugly!

As a investor outside of the US I understand my personal risk more beign in a Emerging Market country.

Thank you Jim for your views and making the Case for Gold especially in todays uncertain financial climate.
