Summary
The Mystery of Edwin Drood was Charles Dickens’ final novel. Dickens died before he had a chance to finish the novel, leaving the literary world an undying mystery and speculation.
Set in the quaint English village of Cloisterham, The Mystery of Edwin Drood takes the listener down a path of dark intrigue and madness. Although Edwin Drood is contracted to enter into an arranged marriage with the orphan Rosa Bud, the young couple develops a deep respect for each other. During a Christmas Eve storm, Drood goes missing, leaving behind nothing but his personal items and a single suspect, his uncle.
Edwin’s uncle, John Jasper, is the number one suspect due to the fact that he is madly in love with Rosa. What could have happened to Edwin and who knows the truth?
