About this listen
Thirty years after her sister's death, Emily's mother comes to visit with earth-shattering news. After years of blaming herself for Amy's drowning, is it possible her sister, who was born with Down syndrome, has been alive all this time?
Meanwhile, when a man falls from the roof at the Sugarbury Falls arts fair, Dr. Henry Fox is first on the scene, but he's too late to save him. Was the fall accidental? Emily heard two men arguing shortly before the incident. Evidence points to murder. Emily and Henry uncover a web of hidden truths and deceptions, while helping the town's detective solve the murder.

Another great mystery
When Emily‘s mom Francis shows up with her new husband Drew, she has a lot to tell Emily. Starting with her sister Amy who went missing 30 years ago has possibly been seen in New York. This starts Emily on an adventure like no other. It will lead her many places including the middle of the woods in the middle of the nightIt is action packed until the end. I really enjoyed this book it is one of my favorite by Diane Weiner and I have a lot of favorites when it comes to her books. This is one I highly recommend to those who love mysteries that are not so easy to solve. This is a great book.

Just gets better and better
I loved this book. Having just got a puppy it was so appropriate to listen to this book now, with all the animal antics that went on, When I listen to this book again in a few months time it's going to bring back some memories. But the animal fun is only a small reason I enjoyed book because let's face it if you are listening to this you want a good mystery and boy is it good with so much happening. This is book five in the series and if like me you have been here from the beginning then you are going to get a lot of answers answered, the book continues on from the last book and if you haven't been here from the start, where were you? The main mystery was very unusual and I liked the unique murder weapon (a bit scary if you stop to think about it) . I also had no clue who the killer was. Another surprise I liked was that characters from the author's other series play a part in resolving the side mystery, a nice crossover to another great series. Just a great book that I will be listening to again.
Emily, Henry and there adopted daughter Maddy are enjoying Sugarbury Falls arts fair when a man falls from the roof of the building. Henry as a doctor is first on the scene but is unable to do anything. Was it an accident, suicide or did he have help? With nobody to care for the grieving widow Emily steps in and quickly learns that with his daughter expecting a child any day now, his death might just be murder. Megan, the police detective is worried that she might have the murder hanging over her wedding day if she can't solve it fast. As well as questioning suspects and looking for clues Emily also has her mother in town with the shocking news that her sister might still be alive. Should she go under hypnotherapy to find out what happened Thirty years ago when everybody thought she drowned? Henry isn't sitting idly by and is busy running his own investigation, while trying to keep Maddy from making a bit mistake by contacting her real father. Will getting a dog help keep her safe?
I like the narrator. She has a pleasant voice that she used well when bringing this story to life.
