Wonderful story if a little drawn out
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Unfortunately the narrator’s voice really grated on me, so I struggled to keep listening, but luckily the story kept my attention. The tale itself is a beautiful and sometimes surprising one. The latter half of the book in particular though is quite frustratingly drawn out, and feels longer than it needed to be.
Nevertheless, I finished it and the ending was quite emotional and rewarding.

a good story I got some of the twist earlier on but very well written
it finished would have liked more bid Grace meet up with all the family how bid they feel

Great story line
I loved this book as I felt I knew the characters and was emotionally invested in their outcomes. I’m usually a lover of crime novels , so very different type of book for me.

I thoroughly enjoyed this multifaceted book.
not my usual style of book (usually a bit of a crime novel and thriller fan) but after enjoying her first book I thought I'd give it a go. I really really enjoyed all aspects of it, The story line(s) the characters, the globe spanning aspects and its dipping easily into different parts of history too. Rich descriptions of lush countryside bring it to life even more. The intricate twists and turns of fate for all the characters kept me guessing almost all the way through. I actually feel a little bereft now that I've finished it.

Well read and enjoyable.
