Useful info buried inside
As someone that struggled with debt for years (debt free for 3), I wish I'd listened to this when things started going down hill. I can relate to so much of it. It's a pity that all the useful information is buried beneath a really lame and almost patronising story. If you need some finance help, and can deal with the condescending tone of one of the main characters, it's worth a listen.

A Life-changing Secret
This was a great story that should, in my opinion, be on the curriculum of every high school.
The storyline was gripping from the opening line and did not disappoint, even though the secret wasn’t revealed until the final chapter.
The four readers were really engaging and I enjoyed every minute.
I can’t recommend this book too highly.

A very concise message for an age old lesson
The use of narrative is a very imaginative way of of giving clear messages on financial advice.

Already out of date?!?
Most of the info seemed out of date as PPI is now on the tip of everyone's tongue so I doubt banks are still selling it.
And I disagree that in this situation where someone just beginning to realise what a mess she is in that she shouldn't switch a high interest balance to an interest free balance she just needs to close the account she transfers
