About this listen
When Janine and Dougie fell in love they thought it would be forever. Fifteen years later their daughter, Stevie, is their one remaining connection. At 16, Stevie’s not quite a child, not quite grown up: a dangerous age. But it's only during a birthday celebration in Spain, when she gets too close to one of Dougie's best friends, that her parents realise just how dangerous.

Twisting realistic story, beautifully read. Lovely. Family life at its most interesting. A great listen.

Spoilt by narration
Really disappointed with this book as I’d listened to a previous book by the same author that I’d enjoyed but sadly this one was drawn out to twice the length it ought to have been and the narrator made the characters Simon and Victoria sound like a pair of public school morons older than they actually were - shame as I’d been looking forward to it
Story was ok but nothing more
