Some doors are locked for a reason . . .
While eleven-year-old Nora Davis was up in her bedroom doing homework, she had no idea her father was killing women in the basement.

Then Nora discovers one of her young female patients has been murdered. In the same unique and horrific manner that her father used to kill his victims.
Somebody knows who Nora is. Somebody wants her to take the fall for this unthinkable crime. But she's not a killer like her father. The police can't pin anything on her.

absolutely LOVED the storyline
another Freida McFadden winner! absolutely loved this book!
only downside was the narrator. she needs to tone it down a bit. by the last hour, her overzealous manner was driving me nuts.
didn't abandon it because i love the author. perhaps rethink the narrator

Enjoyable but different to her usual style
I enjoyed this book. I really enjoy Freda Mcfadden she's definitely one of my favourites. This one for some reason took me a little longer to finish than some of her others. It seemed to maybe be less about the extreme plot twists and turns we are used to in her books and more about the background of the story, the drip feeding of information and the keeping you guessing about the ending rather than lots of small twists and turns. I didnt dislike this style I just found that it had me listening at a regular pace as the story unfolded rather than my usual binge listening because round every corner was a new shocking revelation like in some of her other books. I'd definitely recommend if you are after a slightly darker story, with more story and less shock. I did however find that some parts of the story felt a little unexplained even by the end so that's the reason for my 4 stars.

Fabulous
One of the best books I’ve listened to in a while. Narration was spot on, Kept me guessing the whole way through. Can’t wait to listen to more of her stories.

Not my cup of tea
My first Freida McFadden Probably a better book to read than listen to on audio but the characters I found annoying and quite easy to figure out what was going on seemed repetitive and a bit dull I had to keep rewinding it as I repeatedly zoned out.

Another amazing book!
As always Freida did not disappointment. I could not stop listening to this book and found any little opportunity to do so. Highly recommend!
