Amazing, all-time book
I went from William Mackaskill "Doing Good better" to this book to get the basics of the effective altruism movement and it was very good. Although I liked the other book better and some of the readings were hard to understand.

Convicting but hopeful
If you read this with an open mind, it will change the way you think about how you spend, what you spend on, and why. Full of research and practical guidance, this book explains the benefits and traps of giving money to charity. Well worth reading/listening and then acting on!
