Summary

Pirateaba returns once again, bringing you the thrilling fifth installment of chart-topping LitRPG series The Wandering Inn.

Kings awake, and emperors build new lands. Change is coming to the world, from the King of Destruction moving to a certain doctor finding more friends from home.

The Wandering Inn has a princess who solves problems rather than creates them, and her name is Lyonette. Yet what happens when the innkeeper returns to manage her inn? Lyonette must learn to be a good employee rather than manage everything herself, and sharing power is never easy...

Nor is it ever simple in war, but that is where Geneva Scala remains. In bloodier and increasingly brutal battlefields, The Last Light of Baleros is now growing in fame, but there is no future there. She is desperate, working against hostile forces who see her intervention as dangerous, and still bears the wounds of her previous war to save lives. But she is no longer alone.

Another AMAZING installment

Thank you once again for keeping the story alive and kicking! It never fails to make me happy when I listen. Written with such finesse! It's the best series I've ever listened too. I will listen to all these titles over and over for years to come! Thank You!!!

Emotional

TLDR- Slow start but stick with it. Amazing last half!!

I must admit, I struggled with the first half of this book. The Flos story arch was, i hate to say it, but really quite boring and went on for faaaaar too long. I even had about 6 months where I stopped listening to it. BUT after getting through that half, it really starts to pick up momentum. The last 10-12 hours absolutely flew by, so much happened and I just couldn't stop listening.
As always Andrea does a phenomenal job, she is truly talented and brings each and every character to life in a way few narrators can.
By the end I was on the verge of tears and, no spoilers here, but the song Ryoka chooses was spot on and pushed me over the edge. I was a blubbering mess (I played it on Spotify).
Time to download the next one

What book

Pirate Aba really hit the petal to the metal. Though it starts slow it ramps real hard at the ending, but also with some great for shadowing of what I hope is to come in the later installment in the series.

To much faff that I wasn't interested in

more characters being added and while that in itself isn't an issue 20 hours of side characters getting the limelight is too much

That ending!

Another fantastic chapter in the series. Top class performance by Andrea P. She brings each and every character to life with an apparent ease. Great writing too. Pirate Abba has created such a wonderful world with even the minor background characters becoming people I cared about.. I laughed and cried with one. Just downloading the next volume now.

One of the most fantastic series I've ever read...

And it just keeps getting better. Love the great cast of meaningful characters. This universe just keeps expanding and intertwining more and more. Absolutely brilliant.
