Time is running out for Ben Greenwood - not as an apprentice for the Royal Institute of Magic, but as the Head Guardian, secretly responsible for uniting Queen Elizabeth's Armour.
The dark elves are coming and the only chance of stopping them is to find the last Guardian and the final two pieces of the armour. They will be difficult to find and heavily protected, as they are the most important of all. To make matters worse, Ben's only clue to their whereabouts comes from a particularly unreliable and dangerous source.
With the dark elves massing an army and looking increasingly likely to begin their invasion, Ben faces a race against time to find the last Guardian and unite the final pieces of Elizabeth's Armour. But that isn't his only challenge - he will soon be forced to make a critical decision involving his closest friends, and even his oldest enemies, that might make or break the entire mission.

Wonderful
Absolutely love these books I can't stop listening to them. The Narrator Peter Kenny is perfect and brilliant. The world of Victor Kloss is outstanding its a world I'd love to live in please Mr Kloss write many many many more.

Great escape from reality!
I love this series! I listened to these with my children who both loved the books too, but I also listen to the series on my own when I need a good fantasy story to get away from today's realities. I'm on my 5th time through and I still love all the characters and the storylines. A fantastic read!

Absolutely fantastic, so gripping
I love these stories and I took a break so that when I listened to The Silver Dwarf I could immediately buy the next two with my saved up credits. Admittedly I do wish an editor had tidied the grammar up a little as sometimes I find it distracting but it's very well written and the grammar isn't bad it's just the occasional bit of American grammar slipping in.
