Summary

The latest thrilling adventure from best-selling author Greig Beck!

What would you give for eternal life?

An impossibly old man, a family gruesomely murdered and a woman whose collection of mythological artefacts defies belief: Professor Matt Kearns knows they are connected. These ancient clues bring Matt out of his self-imposed solitude to seek the fabled Fountain of Youth.

This brings on a perilous odyssey across deserts and oceans and into the heart of a mountain, and Matt must overcome horrifying adversaries and creatures of legend and also unravel a 5,000-year-old mystery that will tear at his very sanity. In a hidden place, Matt finds that some gifts have a terrible price - and some are not gifts at all but curses that can last for an eternity.

Awesome!

Love Greig Beck! I am working my way through everything he has written, and eagerly awaiting everything he is going to write! I also love the voice of Sean Mangan who narrates many of Greig Becks books for Audible…a perfect combination for me! This story follows the adventures of Matt Kearns, loved it! Now off to acquire my next Greig Beck book! 👍

Great story - great characters

loved this book - the sort was gripping, the pacevwas perfect and the characters were believable. It is hard to pick out one 'best part' or highlight as I think that this is The complete package. The narrator is perfect for this type of action book. The combination of Beck and Mangen is electric. the worst thing about this book was the final line, only because it means a long wait for the next Greig Beck book.

A good listen.

The narration was good after I speeded it up.
The story was okay, but my attention did start to drift occasionally. The baddies were very easy to spot and quite early on in the book as well.
I liked the explanation of where Grieg got his ideas from at the end.

Story did not grip me kept having to go back to listen again

For me, not as good as other stories by this author. I found I had to keep listening again and again to some sections as I could not remember the story.
