Summary
On moving to Brighton, Georgie finds throwing herself into the city's delights fun and exciting, but before she knows it, she's sliding into all kinds of trouble. Charlotte is in the city for a new start, hoping to keep her head down. A terrible revelation sent Rosa running from London, but could her passion for food lead her to more interesting places? As the three tenants find each other, it's as if a whole new chapter of their lives has begun.

enjoyable book
the characters are interesting and the stories of each one merge together well. I found it a little slow in places and a but predictable but overall was enjoyable. narrator was excellent.

Very good
Lovely story, thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the characters and the ups and downs of their lives. Lucy Diamond is one of my favourite authors, have loved all of her books so far. The narrator was really good too

Marred by narration
I needed to have a second listen to enjoy the writing as I found the narration too annoying the first time. The narrator has lovely neutral tone but her emphasis is almost always slightly “off” . It is is tribute to Lucy Diamond’s stories that I gave it another chance.

Easy reading escape
A nice book, if you want to escape your problems and read about others coming through theirs.
My only gripe was the voices. But they made my Husband laugh.

It was ok just an easy listen
None of the characters really or stood out or I didn’t get attached to them because it jumped from one person to the next. The narration was ok but the children’s voices and a couple of others grated on me.

Another enjoyable book by this author.
Really enjoyable & easy listening, following the paths of individuals and seeing how they come together. Well humoured, real and well read.
