Summary
The first three novels from the acclaimed Haunted series are collected here in one terrifying volume.
Haunted: Perron Manor: Sisters Sarah and Chloe inherit a house they could never have previously dreamed of owning. However, the girls soon realize this is a place evil calls home.
Haunted: Devil’s Door: Halloween night, 1982. Many people were brutally killed or simply vanished at the Blackwater Hotel—formerly Perron Manor. The events of that night have always remained a mystery. Until now...
Haunted: Purgatory: A paranormal research team is hired to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Perron Manor is haunted. But will the team survive long enough to complete their assignment, or will their souls be forfeit?

loved it
really enjoyed this collection, it was well written and read. If I had to make a criticism and this would only be a teeny tiny one. the female voices are all the same hahahha

Found a new favourite author
The narrator is a bit annoying at 1st but once I got used to the Narrator I really enjoyed this book. It comes with 3 main books and a bonus book at the end. Hauntings, daemons and the occult it has the lot! Character development is also good. In all well worth getting just give it time to get used to the narrator and you wont be disappointed if you like the supernatural.

Disappointing
I bought both volumes of this (six books). I love good ghost stories/films etc. Thought they looked promising and good value, but was very disappointed. Firstly I found the narrator a bit annoying, especially when doing female voices. Secondly, I only finished one and a half books, I found them repetitive, predictable and lacking in any atmosphere. When anything "spooky" happened it tended to be after mundane narrative and then the "appearances" tended to be of horrendous physically deformed beings....nothing subtle or unsettling. I prefer my "Haunted House" stories to be scarily unsettling....almost more about what you don't see than what you do. I had to return these books, although I am sure that they will appeal to some.

Narration is awful
I quite like the story but Im sorry to say the narration is terrible. The charactors all sound stupid. The speech is really slow. I have tried to play it at 1.2x speed and that really helps. Im 1/3 through the first book and will try and finish it.

great story spoiled by narrator.
I tried several times to get through this but when the narrator voices the characters he makes them all sound like dumb stoners. surprising because when he isn't doing the characters he is good. the story deserved much better but I only managed to suffer through the first book.

DNF Narration was a total put off
Unfortunately I couldn't finish this; only managed 4 chapters. The narration was fine until the characters were given voices, they all sounded a bit stupid and child like. Gave up on the audio version and bought the book instead
