Where do they go from here!!??
Robicheaux and Purcell have held me enthralled by their adventures for years!
With the constant twists and turns of this story and the psychological portraits of all the characters, Burke has kept me breathless from beginning to end.

Favorite so far
Great story but also the narration by Will Patton and the dialogue is just genius. Clete Purcel is by far the best character and his exchanges with quick witted young street kid who spend much of the novel being referred to 'kiss my ass' is just the funniest and skillful I have come across! The story too is skilfully crafted.

Great listen
I have listened to several of this authors books and am impressed once again!
The story is gripping and fast moving and I have stayed up till the early hours to finish the book when I returned from my holiday. ( I ran out of beach time)

Brilliant
one off the most compelling series of books I've read in a long while. Character's are excellent. atmosphere is superb, Will Patton is the perfect narrator, read the first in the series and was hooked. Read them all!
