Couldn't stop listening, loved everything about it, especially the characters. Interesting period in time and love that it was set in London. Great narration too.

A really good all rounder!
Brilliantly narrated by Tuppance Middleton, the story gently unfolds to an exciting but satisfying conclusion. I especially liked the strong cast of women but also enjoyed parts of the story being told from the male points of view. The chapters being divided amongst the different characters was a great way of exploring various threads to an enjoyable story.

Beautiful
A beautiful story about strong women, told with a touch of magic. I found it easy to follow, the switching of voices and perspective added depth and formed a well rounded narrative- it was read brilliantly.
Highly recommend for a bit of escapism, look forward to diving into more by Liz Hyder.
