Summary
The Frontiersman – Massacre at Buffalo Creek, continues Hannibal Brinks and Stumpy Smith saga. As they were delivering cows to the mining camp, Tall Bear and his Arapaho braves attacked them in Drago Canyon. They survive the ambush only to be attack. On their way back to the ranch, five drygulchers try to steal the money from the cattle sale. They survive the attack and meet two men who will become cow hands on their ranch. A young Lieutenant stops at the Circle BS and spends the night with his detail. The following day they are attacked by several Arapaho Indians and are slaughtered to a man. A second detail of soldiers are sent from Fort Lyon to find the first column. Stumpy is asked to lead them. They find and bury the soldiers. The same group of Arapaho attack the horse farm belonging to Billy and Tipi. The Kunkle’s and their horse wranglers managed to kill a couple of the Indians which caused them to withdraw. The Circle BS continues with it crossbreeding program and take sale stock to the mining camps. Drygulchers try to ambush Stumpy on his way back from a sale and he and Mick Jensen, a new ranch hand, manage to kill two of them and end the fight.
