My kids loved it!
This is a captivating story and the storytelling suits it perfectly. Kate Winslet keeps the narrative going and conveys the action so that the children were riveted. Brilliant!

Excellent classic children’s story
I loved this series as a child and still have the books. It’s still just as magical today. Kate Winslet is an excellent choice to read the stories, she really brings the characters to life!

Fantastic!
Three children aged 9,7 and 4 all loved it and listened quietly from the Alps to Calais - an easy car journey!

Nostalgic
Still listening to this as a nearly-30 year old. It will always be nostalgic and comforting. A great bedtime listen. Can't wait to start on the next installment. Kate Winslet is perfect as ever.

wonderfully narrated
I wasn't sure what to expect from Kate Winslet as a narrator but she does a fantastic job. My boys (4 & 7) love listening to it.

I absolutely loved this! It’s such a good book and such good enthusiasm!
I would recommend this to anyone with a good imagination and I give this book a 1000 out of 10 :) you can tell I am very happy with this book, you’d be correct:)
