Summary
Briar Rose might have a name out of a storybook, but she learned at a very young age that no prince was coming to save her. She’ll have to save herself.
Unfortunately, even that is an impossible task in her current situation—trapped in a terrifying marriage to a dangerous man.
Desperate times call for desperate measures, which is how she finds herself making a deal with a demon. Freedom from her husband…in return for seven years of service.
She expects the service to be backbreaking and harsh. She doesn’t expect to be put on an auction block in a room full of literal monsters and sold to the highest bidder.
To Sol.
A dragon.
He might seem kinder than his fearsome looks imply, but she knows better than to trust the way he wants to take care of her, or how invested he is in her pleasure. In her experience, if something seems too good to be true, it certainly is.
Falling for Sol is out of the question. She’s suffered enough, and she has no intention of staying in this realm…even if she leaves her heart behind when she returns to her normal life.

Boring
Boring, that's all I can say.
You might as well buy a magazine from the top shelf.

Monster Fuckin'
It's a well written book expanding on the already established world found in 'Court of the Vampire Queen' and fits right in with the monster fucker genre so I loved it. The only thing that made me cringe was the male voice actor attempting to do a lady voice, but I got over it.

So sweet
Sweet calming romantic story that warms the heart, heavily sexual of course but that isn’t removing from the overall story.

Monster erotica
I really enjoyed this book. The story was fun and light, even with her background, I loved her and Sol and her short journey. Despite the book cover the Dragon king is actually very kind and thoughtful. The story was too short and I would love to have seen how she interacts with other dragons, and how big is kingdom. Be ready for the steam, 🔥hot hot 🔥hoooootttt.
re-read: not as good as the first time I read it. But very enjoyable anyway. Narration was very slow but really well done, and the voices are perfect for the characters..

Disappointing production
I'm beyond disappointed that though there were 2 narrators, they didn't read their own dialogue lines. I don't get what the point in having 2 narrators is, if they won't interact with each other. The narrators were great on their own and the story is fun but, overall, I got annoyed after a moment with this.
