More like Dinosaur 5 Stars
Story was really fun with well fleshed out characters and staying true to the most up to date science of the time.
I'm a narrator myself and the performance of the narrator here was truly masterful. making clear distinctions between characters with ease.

Very entertaining
At first I thought this is a bit strange, but soon you get to know the characters and feel their emotions and picture in my mind what they could see and hear.

A kick-ass dinosaur thriller!
Where does The Dinosaur Four rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Wow. I've not particularly read A dingo book like this before. I've seen the Jurassic park movies and the old lost world type stories but this really got me. How long would you survive if you were zapped from your local coffee shop to the time of the dinosaurs? A great book that I couldn't stop listening too.
What did you like best about this story?
I loved the premise. The characters and their interactions are great but I really enjoyed the story.
What does Nick Podehl bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
I thought the narration was great adding tension and pace in all of the right places. The characters are also well drawn out. Nicely done!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
If I was to bring anything our from the story without spooling it I'd say that the story itself is good and that the description of the environment and the prehistoric creatures that inhabit it is really well done.

A captivating story
This was my first audio book and I'm glad that it was my first. I enjoyed every second of it and I am looking forward to seeing what other books are on offer

Thoroughly enjoyed this, credit well spent.
It isn't a who dunnit, it's a who is going to not die book with some dinosaurs and i really enjoyed it, especially as I've had some highly rated books recently that have bored me to tears.
This is something very different..
Within a few minutes the plot starts
(I was surprised how quickly)
no dithering about and it doesn't stop.
I finished this in two days, it's one of those that I didn't want to stop listening to.
There were no dull bits, I just really wanted to know what happens.
It isn't going to be to everyone's taste though...!

Fine
This book focuses on a group of people residing in a cafe who are sent back in time to the Jurassic period. How does this happen? You'll have to find out. Who will survive? Four of the ten, presumably.
It's quite a quick listen and although the story is quite straightforward (try and survive and get back to the future), the characters are varied enough to keep things interesting throughout. I can't admit to following exactly who was who at times, the deaths were sometimes a tad too over described considering the tone of the rest of the book and the villain was a bit too 'evil' for my tastes at times but it was a solid yarn and if you are looking for a time travel dinosaur book then this is a solid addition to that particular genre. There are definitely better books out there but if you can get it for a cheap price then it's a fine listen.
