Summary
Marcantonio Colonna's The Dictator Pope has rocked Rome and the entire Catholic Church with its portrait of an authoritarian, manipulative, and politically partisan pontiff.
Occupying a privileged perch in Rome during the tumultuous first years of Francis' pontificate, Colonna was privy to the shock, dismay, and even panic that the reckless new pope engendered in the Church's most loyal and judicious leaders.
The Dictator Pope discloses that Father Mario Bergoglio (the future Pope Francis) was so unsuited for ecclesiastical leadership that the head of his own Jesuit order tried to prevent his appointment as a bishop in Argentina. Behind the benign smile of the "People's Pope" Colonna reveals a ruthless autocrat aggressively asserting the powers of the papacy in pursuit of a radical agenda.

Interesting
It has always been an obscure thing that this Pope has appeared fully supportive of certain cultural issues in ways others were not. It seems my RC brothers and sisters are more than aware of this media Pope.

Eye Opener
As a catholic born and raised, I have looked upon Pope Francis appointment with doubt, scepticism and ultimately dissapointment. A political appointee who is seemingly out of his dept and also corrupt. The author makes use of facts and insider information to point out the many flaws of this papacy and further more, the downward spiral which continues under Francis.

Pope
What’s to say apart from just plain corrupt. The quicker this one goes the better. Should have been sacked a long time ago.

In one respect I was not surprised
But looking at the full aspect I find it disgusting and can understand why both my children are atheists . Why trust such people that are supposed to look after and protect all people rather than use their positions to obtain possessions. Power and political status ( Shame in this e that do these things

Franco the globalists woke capture of the church
Many catholics knew something was wrong with this pope from the start.
Now the feelings are being realised.
Francis was chosen and placed by globalists trying to destroy the Catholic church because it's so large and powerful they need it gone for the NWO plans of marxist feudalism to take effect.
Obama & Soros were behind the choice of Francis a known Marxist jesuit.
Benedict was usurped and the truth is coming out by Bishops in the Vatican and in Rome.
Francis endorses Biden and Fake catholics in America who support abortion and other heresies.
He should have excommunicated these people. Instead he promotes liberal and far left hedonistic lifestyles that ate the antithesis of the Catholic doctrines and the scriptures.

Questionable
The author appears to be anti Vatican 2 so the book needs to be read with that in mind . I am all for open dialogue on church scandals , sexual abuse , corruption, at the same time any correlation between predatory Behavior and homosexuality is wrong ! It’s questionable to criticise a pope for being political when many popes have been and one only has to look at the involvement / interference of the Catholic Church in the running of and political life of Ireland ! Think the author needs to read In Gods name by David Yallop etc . The church is run like a large profitable company , so political interference is nothing new .

A vile and malicious rant
This book is a Trumpian piece of character assassination by an embittered ultra rightist, with far too much time on his hands. Reprehensible and twisted. I regret the time spent listening.
