Enjoyable story & great narration. Nice twist on the usual fairytale roles of prince, knight, changeling etc.

Brilliant
An enjoyable and twisty yarn, with some nice flips from traditional fairytale tropes. A lot of fun, with some surprisingly moving moments.

Just perfect 👌🏻
I don’t know why I was so shocked at how good this book was. Yet another beautiful piece of writing from Holly. She truly is one of the best at writing extraordinary fairy tales that don’t merge into the sea of every other fantasy book nowadays. Perfect narrator for this book too. 5 star, chefs kiss 😘👌🏻.

Kind of anti-climatic
It's an ok story, with decent characters that I vaguely cared about, and its easy to follow, The big reveal is somewhat signposted and felt a little underwhelming, and the ending seems to drag on well past when it should.
