About this listen
In the latest installment of the Dalai Lama's Cat series, His Holiness' Cat ('HHC') is on a mission: to think less, to experience more, to live in the moment. She soon learns the proper phrase for this: being mindful, or a concept better known to her as the power of meow. What ensues is a journey to discover her own true nature, to gain a deeper understanding of her mind, and to experience life's greatest joy: the here and now.
Throughout, she shares encounters with familiar inhabitants of Dharamsala as well as a whole new cast of characters: a senior exec from one of Silicon Valley's most famous social media companies (hint: the name rhymes with 'litter'), the Pope's beloved dog (who shares a shockingly similar title: HHD, His Holiness' Dog), and a public health inspector who threatens to have our poor narrator banned from the Himalaya Book Café.
In this follow-up to The Dalai Lama's Cat and the Art of Purring, listeners can escape to the enchanting and exotic world of the Dalai Lama's monastery in the Himalayas and take a peek inside the mind of a delightfully imperfect creature on the path to enlightenment. By accompanying HHC on her journey, you will learn new ways to relate to your own mind: slowing down, finding peace, and abiding in the boundless radiance and benevolence that is your own true nature.

Wisdom, kindness and friendship
Loved the growing friendship between the Dalai Lama’s driver and Snow Lion and her realisation that he was kind and gentle. Shall never tire of these books!

Life from the perspective of a cat
Really great book. The whole story revolves around the life it this cat who is taken in by the Dalai Lama.
The author knows exactly how cats would think and how they behave. a light hearted book with hints of bhuddist teachings to add to the atmosphere of the book.
This is not a book pushing any type of religion or culture is a wander through the life of one cat in a unique environment

HHC...a purrfect companion
I have become a real fan of David Michie, starting with Buddhism for Busy People, then working my way through the Dalai Lama's cat trilogy, as I walk my dog every morning!
These gentle texts have moved me closer to meditation practices and inspired me to continue, long after my impatient monkey mind is ready to give up! I'm delighted to have found more David Michie books, so I can continue my journey.
Thank you, David...and HHC

Fabulous set of books
I absolutely love this whole series of books, and I am really sad that they have come to an end. I'm really hoping that there will be a new one in the series.. These books are soft and gentle, informative and inspiring. I thoroughly enjoy them all
