Simply Excellent
Just a wonderful complex story full of exciting twists and turns and fascinating characters, a thoroughly enjoyable listen and so well narrated! So many accents done really well. Very impressed, genuinely a book worth listening to over reading if there is such a thing!

Cracking, classic Brookmyre
It almost doesn't matter what the storyline is, Chris Brookmyre crafts a brilliant story, and this is no exception. Weaving past and present, few laughs, some edge of the seat moments, everything culminating perfectly.

Brilliant!
What a cracking book! I have just discovered this author and am delighted to find there are more titles. This is that wonderful combination of a cracking yarn beautifully spun and elegantly written. Highly recommended.

Well plotted
I loved the way every seemingly minor event was eventually incorporated into the plot so it all made a cohesive plot with plenty of twists and turns. The voices and accents were very well done.
