Summary
Reflections on hope, survival and the messy miracle of being alive.
It is a strange paradox that many of the clearest, most comforting life lessons are learned while we are at our lowest. But then we never think about food more than when we are hungry, and we never think about life rafts more than when we are thrown overboard.
The Comfort Book is a collection of consolations learned in hard times and suggestions for making the bad days better. Drawing on maxims, memoir and the inspirational lives of others, these meditations celebrate the ever-changing wonder of living. This is for when we need the wisdom of a friend or a reminder we can always nurture inner strength and hope, even in our busy world.
A book of timeless comfort for modern minds.

Sad it finished
I loved this book. Matt describes his own struggles so well and gave me so many lightbulb moments of where I could think differently about myself. I am enough. Thanks Matt x

That’s Christmas Shopping solved for every person I love
I couldn’t have found this book at a better time. It shall be forever in my literary . The combination he uses of science and music philosophy is just beautifully done to illustrate what we all need to hear when we’re feeling not good enough hopeless and lonely; it is temporary and within those feelings there is something else to discover.
Thank You Matt. Xx

Another great book by Matt Haig
I wasn't sure if this style of short chapter book would work as an audio book. I needn't of feared. Great book, great quotes and anecdotes.
