I loved the female characters too defiantly no stereotypes here - authors voice is mesmerising and grabbed me from first chapter.

excellent story line and narration
I read (listen to) A LOT of books, lots of crime thrillers, assassin type novels, just anything to keep my head busy. most are not of note, and I rarely leave a review. my heart was warmed by the authors note at the end of The Asset and I was encouraged to leave a review before I start with the next in the series. this book was brilliantly narrated, had a great storyline, pace and plot. I'm so happy to have found a decent series to get stuck in to. thank you Saul x

At last, a proper thriller!
The lone, troubled, highly profitient, man on a mission to right wrongs is now a massive genre. I've ploughed through many books by many authors, and enjoyed them all, but this book is by far the best I have read. It's like finding the book that is the grown-up in a room of children.

Very well written
I really enjoyed the nook and as a result have downloaded the second. Credible characters that cross paths in a well thought through itinerary. Excellent voice and interpretation.

Great Read
Jack Reacher, mission Impossible, bourne, this one’s got a bit of everything. Good pace. Like all good spy books, a sprinkle of fact woven into fiction

Enjoyable read
It took me a little while to get into the book, but once in it was a really enjoyable book that was hard to put down. Looking forward to book 2.
