About this listen
With people fleeing the valley in droves and Estes no longer the safe haven it had once been, Neil Martin must make some hard choices. His group has dwindled to 70 homeless refugees who have very little left to survive on. They desperately need to find a place to call home before their many enemies realize how defenseless they truly are.
Instead of risking everything on a blind thrust across the Rockies to the Pacific, Neil sends out three picked teams to not only find a safe passage through the mountains but to also find a community that will take them in. Captain Grey is the obvious choice to lead one team, but is Sadie really the person to take charge of another?
She is a capable leader, a survivor, and a veteran of dozens of battles, but can she control the schizophrenic eight-year-old who won't leave her side even when the blood starts to run and the voices scream in her head?
And what happens when their mission is balanced on the knife's edge with disaster on either side and Jillybean a second from going nuclear. Will Sadie be able to make the hardest of sacrifices for the sake of her family? Or will she let love get in the way?

Undead series
Absolutely magnificent from start to finish. Never a bad chapter. One of the best series I’ve ever had.

Gripping and emotional
I don't feel I can say much without revealing things you don't want to know yet. So I'll simply say this,
Sacrifice is an incredible journey with an emotional ending. It's a real roller coaster and my emotions were as volatile as the story. I'd say this is the best of the series because it's so hard hitting. Peter Meredith holds no punches and delivers a story that stays with you. I cannot recommend this book, and in fact the series, highly enough.

Wow, just wow
From book 1 to this, it's been one hell of a roller coaster, and to finish it off, wow, no spoilers but just wow, words cannot even begin to explain, sadness, loss, joy, grief, you will not be disappointed at all, just a little saddened everyone's story is over, sure the next instalment is jillybean but I want more, I need more

Not a zombie apocalypse now
Really not sure what to say. Not a zombie apocalypse novel at all , but, about a young girl and her mental breakdown. Way too much detail on that to the point it’s too much… far too much
Why has it taken up to book 10 for someone to realise jellybean needed meds??? And then she never took them????
Story very repetitive.. road trip, traders/slavers try to capture them, bombs, escape only to happen again… repeat repeat repeat…..
