About this listen
It’s been three days with no call or text back...you can’t eat, sleep, or work. You’re going to die alone in your bed, gripping your phone, waiting for a response; or at least that’s what your brain keeps telling you.
There’s a common flaw that people who chase partners all have in common. Are you an anxious attacher? If you’re still holding your phone hoping they’ll reply then drop it now and pick up this book.
Stop the self-fulfilling prophecy of worrying that your relationships will all end in disaster. Take a deep dive into healing your anxious attachment, learn how to boost your self-esteem and independence, and build a foundation for healthy love. The Anxious Hearts Guide is a collection of years of psychology research, book recommendations, and strategies to help supercharge your relational health and stop pushing potential partners away. It is an approachable, accessible, and enlightening window into why anxious attachers do the frustrating things that we do for love and how to rise above it.

Life-changing book, passionately delivered
I own this book and when I saw there was an audio version I was super excited. I’ve followed Rikki’s instagram for some time and her content for anxiously attached daters has been pivotal in my self-development.
This book covers a range of key topics which resonate deeply with any anxious hearts out there and even as an anxious man who sometimes feels very alone in this, I didn’t feel at any time as though the content wasn’t relevant for me too.
Rikki reads this herself and I’m so glad because it’s delivered with passion and empathy in her voice and it made all the difference in terms of my engagement.
I’ll be listening again alongside the book to continue to put things into practice.
Thank you Rikki and looking forward to the next one!

An excellent read for anyone with an anxious attachment style looking to improve themselves
I had been following Rikki on instagram for a while so really wanted to read her book. This book is mainly aimed at people in the dating pool. That said, there is plenty of wise advice throughout the book for those already in a relationship who are working on improving it. In my opinion, I could make sense of the terminology because I’m not a complete beginner. However, I guess Rikki does touch upon the meanings of certain phrases for the layman. For me it filled the gaps and reassured me about the things I had learned in therapy. All in all, it’s a wonderful book to listen to 😊

The Anxious Hearts Guide
I really like that this book is written and narrated by someone who has overcome anxious attachment. I purchased this while going through intense attachment anxiety, which I have endured for many years, without being aware of what the problem was until recently. I cried with recognition and relief several times throughout this book...just knowing this is a recognised pattern of behaviour and that I'm not going mad was incredibly comforting. This book gave me the courage to open up to two select close friends, both with positive outcomes, and I have realised this can be overcome.
Rikki's narration is compassionate, soothing and encouraging. She offers numerous guides, homeworks and additional reading. If anxious attachment is ruining your life make sure to give this a try...you'll be glad you did. 10/10 recommend.

One of the best books I've read for anxious attachment
I'm so glad I gave this book a go - it's helping me so much at a difficult point in my dating journey. I feel like I'm talking / listening to a good friend - there's no judgement. The explanations of the complexities of anxious attachment are so well thought out. I can relate to pretty much everything she says in this book and it's such a comfort. Highly recommend.
