all parents should be therapeutic parents
This book was fantastic, and I can understand why it's so often spoken about online. But while listening, it struck me that it's actually for all parents. There will always be rudeness, rivalry, delay tactics ... and the aporoach taught in this book feels so much more compassionate and certainly more effective.

Reality at its best
Sometimes it’s hard to comprehend what life with a looked after or adoptive child will be like, and often we live with an idea of a grateful, loving child being in our care. This book is what reality can look like. A perfect guide to understanding the traumatic life of children and how we can help make that better. Sarah Naish is a superstar ⭐️

Informative but the narration is extremely hard work
I don’t believe that this book translate very well into an audiobook.
It is hugely informative and poses some great scenarios, potential consequences and ways to manage.
The book is read without expression. After three hours I can no longer listen to the book due to the monotony of the tone. Whilst it is a great book I would suggest a paper copy.
