About this listen
A sexy new friends-to-lovers stand-alone performed by Zachary Webber and Andi Arndt!
Let me list the reasons why dating the sexy, charming pro hockey star is a bad idea:
He’s one of my closest friends.
All our friends are friends.
The wounds I’ve got from past relationships go deep. And so do his.
We’re both devoutly single - it’s just safer for the heart that way. But there’s no reason not to bid on the gorgeous, clever athlete at the charity auction this weekend. If I win, it’ll be a "friendsdate".
And I do win. I win him big. And hard. And all night long.
The trouble is...what happens in the morning?
This fun and sexy romance also includes an extended epilogue narrated by Brian Pallino and Stella Hunter!

More please 🙏
A beautiful friends to lovers story without overdoing the..”will they won’t they” loved the overview of Brin and Logan etc…but would’ve been awesome to hear their stories from the beginning that said certainly worthy of the stars. Absolutely first class narration all round

Fun and face-paced
This was a cute, fun, fast-paced friends to lovers story. It felt like more of a short story collection for several couples than a full story for Ransom and Teagan. That’s not a bad thing, just not what I expected. I think I would have liked more focus on them but overall it was a good listen. I wouldn't consider it a standalone. I think you really need to have read the other books in the series to really appreciate this one.
The narration was fantastic.

Sexy friends to lovers
Lauren Blakely is the Queen of feel good romance, and the majority, if not all of her recent books are standalones (I think), but they’re very much interconnected, and I’m not just talking about each series intermingling, no, she has series’ intermingling with series, and her characters are always adorable, sexy, sweet and have the best sense of humour. Pro hockey star Ransom North and number cruncher Teagan King are no exception, friends to lovers, and the only singles left standing in a group celebrating coupledom in one way or another. Pretty much set-up (very indiscreetly - not) by their mutual all loved up friends. Both Teagan and Ransom are secretly attracted to each other, but surprisingly don’t want to ruin their friendship, also, they’ve both been burned before and aren’t looking for a relationship. When push comes to shove though, they actually go with the flow and, refreshingly, there’s no lies, no denying their feelings, wants, hopes or dreams. A beautifully written, easygoing, feel good romance. Quick, easy, and enjoyable, and it was oh so good to see all the crowd again. I received an advanced copy of this book. This is my honest review.
