About this listen

Danielle Danshov has wanted to be a warrior for as long as she can remember. At 18, that dream is within her grasp–if she can get through her final year of training, master her Fae magic, and work with the enigmatic new trainer who challenges her as no one else has.

Outside Westhorne, a sinister new threat is growing, and demons and shifters are disappearing without a trace. As the Mohiri search for answers, danger strikes close to home, and the investigation becomes a race to save someone Dani loves before it’s too late.

When Dani’s world begins to crumble around her, she must find strength she never knew she had and harness the power inside her. She’ll need both when she faces her enemy and discovers just how much she has to lose.

NOTE TO NEW LISTENERS: Tempest takes place in the Relentless world 20 years after the events in that series. There are numerous references to people, places, events, and creatures from the original series. If you are new to Relentless, it's recommend you listen to that series (or the first three books) before you listen to Tempest.

Tempest

This story introduces you to the next generation following the daughter of Sarah and Nicolas, as she reaches the age of her lieanon. As she finds her mate only to have added complications along with it. We also get to find out how the Pack has changed now Roland has taken over from his Uncle. With his and Peter's children being best friends with there's. Great story with some nice twists, before they concur all. Read brilliantly by Caitlin Kelly.

Disappointingly Juvenile

After reading the first books in the series I was super excited when this came out. Unfortunately it’s as if the author child grew up and tried to finish the series. It’s not the same, too many storylines each being dropped to pick up the other.

Spoiler: Her best friend is missing which she is distraught over then goes weeks without mentioning while she get to know her new mate? Not plausible. Lacks the maturity of the original characters, even the voice sound adolescent instead of 20 and they are super vague about her age, completely forget the older brother the kidnapped friend is meant to have. The boy who kept Peter away that final thanksgiving that the twins were born? Summer cannot be this child as she’s female and the wrong age giving she just started uni.

I’m really disappointed.
