Bit predictable, but easy enough to listen to

Enjoyable enough story, but no huge surprises. Felt it was quite predictable and went on a bit at times.

Fantastic as usual

Another classic Jane Fallon. I enjoyed listening to this as is always the case with her books.
Fun, friendship and frivolity.

Kept me enthralled to the end.

This story about staff on a continuing television series kept my interest all the way through.
The narrator had a lovely voice and I couldn't fault her performance.
Not wanting to give too much away I'll just say that in the office your friends may not be who you think they are.

Great story which emerged quite slowly.

I nearly gave up half way. So glad I stuck with it. Great story and loved the main character Holly.

Highly engaging

Another fab JF book. Took me a while to get into as the work based set up wasn’t the most interesting but once it gets going it’s really gripping and the characters really grew on me. The narration isn’t the best but I played about with the listening speed and found a tempo that I could get along with. Worth sticking with it as the story soon gets going and will have you gripped

Boring narration

Did not like the actors narration. She sounded like the voice that describes the scene in a film for visually impaired viewers.

Stick with it

When I started I wasn’t sure I could finish it. Narrator seemed to be talking non stop, she doesn’t take a breath, very annoying. Either she calmed down, or I got used to it. Really got into story by the end, good read.
