Another wonderful instalment from Amy............Thank you.
Oh what a story. Why did it have to end! They are all such wonderful characters. This author is my sit down I a big cosy armchair with a mug of coffee and my knitting. Just heaven on Earth. Now for the wait of Amy’s next wonderful book..........
And I have to say Julie Maisey is the best narrator for these books. She really has that magic that can bring the characters to life.

Lovely Story
This is the third book and after listening to the first purchased the rest. Couldn't wait to enjoy each of them. True to life family story during wartime, very well written. New to Amy Miller but I will certainly look for more of her books.

Poor narration
The readers narration is very elementary, as if reading a story to children. For me this detracted form the authenticity. A slight faux pas from the author was of ww2 having tea bags! they were not available until 1953 : )
