Summary
Everything comes at a price. What if this one is too high even for him to pay?
Jackson Ludlow, the recluse billionaire of New York, is beautiful and captivating but also damaged and alone.
He thinks he is the only one with secrets, but he’s wrong.
My past is coming for me. It’s forcing me back there: the place that ruined everything.
I don’t want to go. He can’t make me.
But there’s no way out.

Secrets are out!
This is a follow-up listen to book one and I enjoyed this book it help with getting to know a little bit more about the characters although I am currently super annoyed with the out of the main female character! On to book 3 for me!
The narration is still great and is keeping me interested!

More Cliffhangers
Harley and Jackson were in love as soon as they slept together, this felt a little rushed to me. Learning more about backstory of the characters was good. Narrators were good but seemed to be monotone in their approach to reading.

Increasingly drawn in by this couple
I loved finding out more about Jackson and Harley’s back stories and more drama enfolds as we follow the next part of this series. I felt even though this part had more excitement I missed seeing more development in their relationship, I would’ve liked them spending more time alone to deepen their non-sexual relationship. The narration was perfect and Russell and Brittany totally embody Jackson and Harley for me now. Looking forward to the next part! #AudiobookObsession

Increasingly involving!
In this second episode of the Tangled series I found myself increasingly immersed in the story of Jackson and Harley and anxious to find out what would happen next. The cast widens and past histories immerge to deepen the mix.
Both Russell Newton and Brittany A make really good narrators and keep the attention focussed. I am now totally committed to this this story and the dates of Jackson and Harley...and what a finale in this episode!!

Straight onto next book!!
This storyline is gripping. I would slap Charlotte if I could, girl you know how to get people hooked!! I can’t wait to see where this goes. Good characters that both Brittany and Russell bring to life so well.
