Good one
A good cozy mystery. Peter wounded on leave sees a murder in the house across the street but no evidence is found. A nice twist having him be the one at the for front of this one. A well written story that keeps you guessing until the end. Narration is excellent really helps to bring the story to life. I received a complimentary copy of the audio and am leaving a honest voluntary review.

Such a fun series
This combination is magic, so easy to listen and the stories are fun. I really enjoyed listening to this and guessing where it is going. Although obviously a male voice, I can hear the female characters so it works for me.
Added bonus is the recipes afterwards.

Excellent.
Another excellent listen in the Pacific North West Series by Dennis Shock. Peter is at home recovering and learns what it's like to be a nosey neighbour when things start happening in the middle of the night. Well written with likeable characters this story will have you guessing as it develops with plenty of twists and turns. Looking forward to the next one already. Geoff Moons narration is superb and he brings all the characters to life. Highly Recommended.

Suspicious goings on
Suspicious goings on.
I enjoy this book. The author tried something different with this book. In the previous books Lily and her daughter Judy took centre stage and solved the cases but with this book its Lily's boyfriend who does most of the investigating. The ladies are involved but it is definitely Peter's case. There are a lot of suspects acting suspiciously for a small neighbourhood, especially with a case that nobody believes is one but it kept it interesting. You are kept wondering about a number of things but it all gets wrapped up nicely. Looking forward to the next investigation.
Judy's boyfriend is injured on the job and for an active cop being stuck at home, hobbling around on crutches is no fun. So when late at night he witnesses an attack he is quick to phone the police. When the police don't find a body or anybody at home they chalk it up to drinking while on pain medication. Peter can't let it go, even when the neighbours wife returns home safe and well. Can he discover what happened next door? With Judy and Lily's help us will have to get to know his neighbours a lot better to uncover if there is a murder living amongst them.
I liked the narrator. He makes the story flow nicely and keeps it interesting with the voices he gives the characters.

Silverdale
I loved the narration of eff Moon, who brings the action and suspense to your ears.
While Peter is at home recovering and learns what it's like to be a nosey neighbour when things start happening in the middle of the night.
With the gossip, circumstantial evidence and twists and turns. Was there a murder and if so who committed it. Great characters and a plot that will keep you listening.

A puzzling whodunit.
I enjoyed this book so very, very much. It is a puzzling whodunit with delightful characters and an entertaining plot with plenty of twists, brilliantly narrated by Jeff Moon.
A review copy of this book was sent to me by the author. All of the above opinions are my own.
