Summary
Daniel and I are having Christmas dinner with Mom and Mom’s new boyfriend Kent, when Daniel gets a call from his foster mom. His foster father has died, and now, Janet wants to move him to San Francisco to be closer to her family!
Daniel and I try to brainstorm ways for him to make money, so he can afford to stay in Sunny Springs. In the meantime, a joke from Karen leads me to our next exposé - busting the boys selling "nudes" of their ex-girlfriends and discovering who created the website someone is using to sell them worldwide.
Can we discover who is behind it all, before someone discovers the secret of the website on the school servers? And will we find a way to allow Daniel to stay in Sunny Springs, or are we doomed to break up?

A Fantastic Teen Detective Series.

Nancy Drew Who?
Helena & Daniel have now established their reputation as a mystery solving power couple, but young love is in trouble when Daniels foster father dies and he gets framed by the mastermind behind their latest investigation.
Sunny Springs High it seems has it's own Dark Web of pictures involving nudes being sold of freshmen girls- the aftermath of which leads to a tragedy when the public backlash and bully resulting from the scandal ends in one of the young girls making a fateful decision. That reinforces Helena's determination to find the culprit and clear her boyfriends name... while dealing with his housing crisis. Enlisting a dedicated Nancy Drew club they go on the hunt to bring down this cyber monster.
I am thoroughly impressed by the writing, Shelby Hughes narration brings a lightness to this dark high school underbelly.
The exploration of Helenas friendships with Pay's Harem of boyfriend dynamic was a nice addition.

Decent Enough Teen Book
Story was a decent enough teen detective type story, but I found the narration a bit wooden and even sped up, still really slow. I found the "doll face" nickname really irritatating and the mum to be more childish than the kids... But overall it was OK.
