Summary

“And what exactly was it that you were attempting to summon, Lord Eamon?”

On the day of his Proving, Apprentice Summoner Samuel Eamon chooses a white rabbit as his familiar, summoning a creature from the Outer Spheres and dubbing it “Snowball”. What he gets is a shapely succubus with bunny ears and a poofy cottontail.

Turns out everything he tries to summon ends up a succubus. With his new Summoner’s License, Samuel is sent with a former classmate as his escort to meet Runescribe Elantrica Ilmora—someone who just might be able to discern the truth behind his odd spin on Calling Magic.

There’s one more issue: This former classmate of his, now a nun, was his personal bully at the academy—and she’s irritatingly gorgeous. Now they have to put differences aside to get the job done, facing goblins, monsters, and the perils of the wilderness together. As a relationship develops between the pair, how will Samuel manage his nightly duties to his succubi in tandem with his complex feelings for his childhood bully?

The team behind master class does it again!

At my request I received a copy of this audiobook in order to give a fair and unbiased review.

Genre: Fantasy, romantic harem, Succubus summoning MC.

Power dynamics in harem: All the girls trust and lust for MC, but act according to own needs and wants at times
Explicit/adult material: Explicit and good. Bunny succubus, Hellhound succubus, spider succubi.

Summary:
Samuel has finally reached the end of his summoner education and plans to summon a bunny for his exam. Exams are high stakes, and any summoning will do. Things does however not go to plan.
Instead of a bunny a bunny-succubus materialises and things get awkward fast. Soon he is sent off on a journey under the protection of his childhood bully to figure out why Samuel only seems to summon Succubi.

Narrators
Voice diversity: Fantastic voicework. The voices are distinct, match the character and are super engaging.
Pacing and intonation: The lulls are cozy, the passion is passionate and the action had me at the edge of my seat. Expert storytellers at wok.
Sex scenes: Very well done.
Overall: 5 / 5 stars.

The book’s strengths.
- The relationships feel natural and grow and change at natural paces
- All the main characters are likeable and feel rounded and real.
- The banter is awesome.
- The writing is top notch, funny and engaging.
- The narration.

The book’s weaknesses.
- None that I can think of. Maybe I would like it to be a bit longer?

Phenomenal

The variety of Succubi that are summoned regardless of how innocuous the desired summon is, is brilliant. The combat is quick and blends close combat and magic. Great comedy and saucy activities.

I’m so done with this author

Everything is subpar!!! Bad story with the MC is hunted by the church. MC is only part human. If I knew either of these I would skip the book. Storytelling and harem is so flat and boring.

Disappointed

I never thought a book about summoning succubi could be this boring. Just disappointing. Also not a complete book!
