A Wonderful Companion
I found this book particularly impactful. I didn’t realise the wide-ranging adverse effects of overthinking. Hearing that overthinking is fuelled by stress is an eye-opening experience. The author delves into a number of areas including negative self talk, mindfulness techniques, time management and for me the big one – perfectionalism. Author Lara Noble provides a step-by-step approach to overcoming overthinking and mastering your mindset, which is incredibly empowering.
If you're someone who struggles with overthinking and lack of clarity, this is the book for you. The strategies are practical, actionable, and results-driven. I highly recommend it for those looking to reclaim control of their mind and achieve their goals.

Lara J. Noble's guide is like a comforting chat with a friend about the real struggles we all deal with overthinking, and anxiety. She gets it, and her down-to-earth encouragement to ditch perfectionism and embrace self-compassion is like a breath of fresh air. What I loved most was the variety of stuff it covers from perfectionism to time management and conflict resolution. It's like a buffet of helpful ideas. Great resource for anyone who overthinks
I really enjoyed this audio book and will probably listen to it a few more times to get the most out of it. I like the meditation and breath exercise and am using the breathing now. The body relaxation was a good practice also. I need to work on the time management skills and get my life back on track. I also appreciate the reframing concept to help me stop worrying about the future. This book is a valuable asset for anyone who needs a little or a lot of help with every day overthinking.

Helpful intention, competence and a lot of advice
I'm glad I found it because I really liked this book and will read it many times in the future. I was looking for a similar writing for a long time and now I found it. Seek and find, this is very true for me now.
Although fortunately I am less affected by the subject matter of the book, I would be lying if I would say that I was totally free from the problems described in this work. Since people live extremely stressful lives nowadays, I believe that the raison d'être of such books will get more and more space for itself and we will need more and more of this kind of treatment. For individual treatment, when we can overcome our problems by ourselves, by our own efforts, with the help of a great book like this. Which I think is much better than stuffing ourselves with drugs that have who knows what kind of side effects, besides the fact that it is questionable whether they help at all.
The introduction clears up some misconceptions about overthinking.
The relationship between depression, anxiety and overthinking is discussed, among other things, and the author presents some very important information regarding these.
In the central parts, we can learn, for example, how to limit our negative thoughts and curb our perfectionism, as well as why it is very important to have good time management, self-discipline, self-acceptance or keeping a gratitude journal if we want to get rid of the burden of overthinking.
I was very reassured by this book, on the one hand, because it showed in detail over long pages that this problem does not only affect me sometimes, but also the majority of people. On the other hand, showed me the solution methods that can help me if I would sometimes feel depressed and anxious, and if I would start overthinking again.
For example, the importance of adequate and restful sleep and diet, which can greatly contribute to our well-being. I once read somewhere that sleep, diet and silence are the best cures for most ailments. That might actually be true.
I recommend everyone to read this book!
Especially for overthinkers, but also for those who may have people in their immediate environment who sometimes show depressive and anxiety symptoms, the book will help them understand them better.
Furthermore, if they also read it, maybe they will be able to overcome their demons sooner and without tormenting thoughts, they will be able to continue their daily life in a healthy way.

Very relatable.
The irony is I started to overthink this review, and I chose to shift, thanks to the content. The 13 tips spread throughout tied it together nicely. I really liked the way she addressed negative self-talk as that is probably my biggest challenge. If I had one criticism, it would be that there was a lot of information in the conclusion and I felt much of it was too valuable to be where she placed it, but it was not enough reason to take a star away. If you are still thinking about getting this book, maybe your best first step is to stop thinking about it and get it.
