Summary
What happens when the god of chaos wins a divine poker game?
Bee-girls.
The life of a giant bee is a simple one. The life of a giant bee when her queen turns the entire hive into human-like apis to fend off an attack? That’s a good deal more complicated.
Getting down from a 50-foot giant rose without wings while surviving the attacks of malevolent wasps is just a start. Surviving long enough to figure out what to do with her new life proves to be something of a challenge, but at least that much is understandable.
Of course, that’s when she gets sucked into the tangled web of an ambitious demon lord who’s threatening to plunge the world into a war.
The only question is, are the gods done with her yet?

just happy go lucky
I liked this story a lot. It's a no brainer, no endless reciting of numbers or stats but still a great description to make a good and correct link to a gaming based world. I'm looking forward to the sequel.

A very fun listen
The story has a very interesting setting and explains the world well. The characters are likeable too, the character of Joy having just enough naivety to be endearing without venturing into annoying. The story itself is small teasing to something big but I think that works as an opening tale. Reba Buhr does a really good job too, looking forward to listening to future books in the series.

I'm a bee~ I'm a bee~
I was very skeptical when starting this book. It was by a narrator that I didn't know and after reading the synopsis, I felt like the book could try too hard to be comical and miss the mark. I mean, a litrpg about bees? I was pleasantly surprised to find a talented narrator and a great story.
The story was enjoyable, and didn't bombard you with long and frequent stat tables. It also has a great balance of story and action. I never caught myself wishing to get on with the story, something that I feel can happen a lot in my favorite genre, litrpg.
The narrator did an amazing job at pulling you into the reading. Reba's contribution to the audiobook was perfect for me. She even sung parts that needed to be sung instead of just reading it. I am glad to have discovered her in this book and will look forward to listening to any of her other works.
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
