About this listen

From the best-selling author of Strike Back, Chris Ryan returns with the second in his new action-packed series.

Tough enough? Smart enough? Max will require all his skills just to stay alive as a Special Forces Cadet....

In this second audiobook, the cadets are sent to North Korea.

A British agent investigating the rogue state's nuclear capabilities has gone missing. The secretive nature of life in Pyongyang means that unfamiliar adults would attract suspicion and fall under immediate surveillance. So the cadets form part of a young pioneers tour to the North Korean capital. Once there, they must use their skills and training to find out more about the missing agent.

In the course of their investigations, they forget the one rule every undercover operator must obey: trust nobody. When a local teenager they befriend betrays his suspicions to the North Korean secret police, the young cadets must use all their skill to escape the authorities and the country. But can they locate the British agent at the same time?

Explosive and full of action.

This is a great book, for a short book it was very action packed. It is great seeing the team develop further as a unit. Normally i like longer books better however these are great little reads.

Spectacular!!!

Personally, I believe that this book is amazing - and they all are! Also, it is short, but not to short; its a amazing read and is action packed plus, you don’t expect for what comes next. I loved how the narrator read it, but who done the voices? Overall I would give it 1,000,000 stars out of 5, if I could. I would wish that (judging from the size and length of the book) I would’ve embraced this series even more if it was 2 or 3 books longer.

What I liked : All of it!

What I disliked : Books are to short - sadly 😞.

Overall : Amazing read and book.

Recommendations : I recommend this for all ages between 8 and 15. Moreover, I would also recommend it for people who love the military or spy books or just love a but of action.
