Summary
The only way for darkness to thrive is to destroy the light....
Sabine owes her life to the two demon brothers who helped keep her hidden from the fae for the past 10 years.
When she learns Dax has been forced back to the Underworld to stand trial for his treasonous crimes, Sabine races to their volcanic home to save him. What she discovers is a long-hidden truth that will shape the future of their world or potentially destroy it.
Only an ancient weapon of power can shatter the portal's bindings.
The demons secretly recognize Sabine as the true queen of the Unseelie, and they're determined to keep her for their own purposes. With her magic, they can escape the Underworld and declare vengeance on those who oppose them.
But first, they must destroy all her ties to the light, including the man she loves.

Better and better
Wow! I thought that it'd kinda be the same story, different world - because, what else can they do, right? Well - THAT didn't happen! I love that Sabine and Malik are so tight and lovey dovey, and the tension is STILL racked up to the max. Get a great narrator, mix in demons, gods, goddesses and and some hellish hounds, and you've got yourself an adventure! Can't wait too see what awaits them next.

amazing world
I love the world this story is set in. The picture is so vibrant in my mind and I am enjoying it more as each story comes out. The story is well written and set up an amazing world. The story feels fresh and unique and the characters are rich and multi dimensional. The narrator did a good job.

Great performance
The plot thickens with these characters and storyline. It’s a great escape from the real world, you can get lost in this magical setting. A fantastic performance.

Sorry...but no.
While the underling story was good, the constant disappearing down rabbit holes of inane tripe became too much...I gave in and stopped reading. A little temper tantrum from one character, suddenly causing the the protagonist to want to cut off her tattoos...and then her arms...really?!
