Summary
Once upon a time, I killed a god and stole his power. I've been paying for it ever since.
After my banishment, I promised myself three things.
One: I would never take a mate.
Two: I would find a way to get rid of the power I stole.
Three: I would punish the gods who banished me.
Not necessarily in that order.
There's just one teeny, tiny little problem.
That power I hate? It's a siren call to the ones who banished me, letting them know I've broken out of their prison.
And that mate I don't want? Well, he found me first, and he has no intention of letting me go anytime soon—even with his life on the line.
Trusting him breaks every one of my rules, but it might be the only way to save us both.
**Shadow Me is a spicy standalone romantasy set in the Immortal Vices and Virtues Universe. Every book is a guaranteed happily ever after with a satisfying ending and no cliffhangers. Perfect for fans of Immortals After Dark, Black Dagger Brotherhood, and the Demonica series.**

Shadow Me
I really do love the way Annie Anderson weaves her tales. I love her strong characters and plot. The spice is good and fits with the story it's not just there to be there. I loved this read.

Styx and Corvin
Supernatural romance with found family/pack supporting characters.
If you have been following on from the previous couples we were teased this romance in Legions book Hunt Me so it was great to see the action happening from the otherside.
i'm really enjoying this new shadow/underworld vibe this season has adopted. It's introduced a great cast of new characters to explore.
I loved how Styx was literally a living legend to Corvin. He grew up hearing tales of her and in some part had already starting to fall for her.the romance had the great banter and drama we have come to expect from the Immortal virtues and vices series.
Another great addition.

Shifter Romantasy
Shadow Me by Annie Anderson is a shifter romantasy that I listened to on audio narrated by Penelope Ann Rose and Xander Marceaux. This book is set in the Immortal Vices and Virtues universe and can be read as a standalone.
This is the second book of Annie's that I have read, and it definitely won't be my last. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Corvin and Styx. I loved getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
Penelope and Xander did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you're looking for a shifter romance, fantasy romance, or romantic suspense.
