Fun Romance

This is a breath of fresh air! A fun listen of seven sisters as they navigate through life, trying to find their loves and paths. Robert and Junia were engaged. Both lost their parents, and Junia needed to be married to keep the ranch and custody of her sisters! Robert decided though, that he couldn't marry her and took off to start a new life. Now 9 years later, he has returned to find out he is married to Junia and she and the 6 sisters have been running the ranch. I love this story for a couple of reasons. It's fun to follow the lives of this time period. I love the old west, and this is just an all out good time. The true fun though is seeing how different each sister is. From a sharp shooter to a reporter, each on is incredibly different and would love to follow their dreams. It's a fun listen, from the banter between the siblings to the pulling together to solve the mystery.

Jeannie Hawks gives a great performance. She has a lot of voices to portray and she finds a different one for each. Easily adding in a few accents, and the men as well, she makes it easy to distinguish the characters and follow the story. It is a good listen.
