Murder and romance
I loved this novel from start to finish, it was so much fun. It was obvious where the romance section was going from the beginning, but the murder mystery kept me guessing.
The narrator fitted in perfectly with the story and really brought the characters to life.
Overall, this was a light fun chick-lit style book, but I would definitely read/listen to another by this author.

Loved it
A very entertaining mystery with lots of suspense and humour. The mystery kept me guessing until the end.I liked the characters although the romance was a little too quick for my liking. I look forward to reading more of the series.

A sweet cozy
I did enjoy this cozy but thought it was more of a romance story than a mystery because the murder for me got lost in the relationship between the two main characters. There was a number of suspects and I did like the characters but thought Tizzy was a strong independent women at the start, very sassy and fun but by the end she had turned in to helpless female in love. Not sure why she was talking to the ghosts in the graveyard and thought the author could have made more of that with the ghost playing a part in the solving of the case instead of just shouting at her.
Widowed mum Tizzy is out jogging at the local cemetery when she stumbles over a body. To make matter worse the dead women is her sister-in-law the woman Tizzy a had a big argument with only hours before, the woman who had always thought Tizzy wasn't good enough for her brother. As this is the first murder case the small town has seen Texas Ranger Ridge Cooper is called in to help solve the crime before Tizzy is arrested.
The narrator was very American but was easy to listen to.
