Summary
Dr. Aubriella Byrne isn’t the adventurous sort. The most daring thing she’s ever done is travel to visit her cousin in Kent to research her doctorate. Until she catches a glimpse of a man in another era through a mirror—she takes a leap of faith and goes to his time to find him.

Aubriella isn’t sure if she should tell him who she is, or more importantly where she’s from, but secrets and lies have a way of unraveling. Killian has a few of his own he doesn’t want to come to light. The decision to trust each other is a hard one. Sometimes love isn’t enough and their secrets might destroy everything.

learning and saving him
Aubriella discovered time travel and she was captivated by Earl Killian Lynnwood. She travelled to his era and they were in company awhile with their secrets.
Enjoyed this unusual story. The heroine has such a great wit at answering the questions without actually lying. She also brought her modern day attributes to his era and she curbed the events to meet her goals. Aside, from what seems to being captivated at first sight, she was there to learn and save him at the same time. I was a bit shocked by the Earl's revelation, their travel and their accommodation.
Overall, this was an entertaining love story, great for a quick afternoon read. Looking forward to the next one. (NOTE: Has mature/steamy scene).
