Great advice and enjoyable presentation
Please forgive grammar errors as I’m not native in English :)
This book is clear, useful and encouraging guide for your book plot. It clearly states what kind of emotional turns are needed to keep the reader invested in your story. I really appreciate this book for clearly told advice as it is not easy to give understandable guidelines for a plot. With this book I corrected a few flaws in my plan, which I could not have discovered on my own. I like my design a lot more after checking it with advice from this book. I found my confidence in my story and have begun the writing process. I warmly recommend this book!

Great book, but beat-sheets long and repetitive
It's a great book - click and get it. However, I need to point out that beat-sheets are too long and repetitive. If the author is reading this... thank you for great narration and the book; but please cut down the beat-sheets after some time it gets really really boring... I had to skip them.

Useful and insightful
Good enough that I bought a hard copy as well so I could mark pages and reference easily. Occasionally repetitive but that is a minor quibble as many of the repetitions are also very helpful to clarify points made.

Excellent, clear and enjoyable
This is the first book I’ve listened to about plot structure in a novel and it was excellent. The overall information for very clear and informative. It tells you all that you need to come up with a good story structure. The narrator is also good to listen to which is an added bonus. It almost feels like you’re listening to a fictional book. Recommend to those interested in plot structure or those who are thinking about writing a book and don’t know where to start!

Brilliant book! I would not hesitate to recommend this book. Read by the author so she understands what she’s reading unlike many other audio books. I find it easy to listen to as properly annunciated.

Helpful steer when yah don’t know where to turn
Listened at x2 speed and as a novice not-yet-novel writer I found it helpful to get a sense of the behind the scenes of story writing. Sections were clear and easy to follow. The accompanying pdf was super helpful and made for a great audiobook package as it was nicely delivered but still with written things to go back and reference when needed.

it's up to you whether to follow the formula
I understand people's apprehension towards very formulaic structure this book presents.
My speech to this book read whether or not you want to learn about the formula.
Just because there is a formula does not mean you have to follow it, my approach is that I would rather know about the formula and decide how I would like to apply it to my writing.
I suggest giving this book a try learning the formula and then decide how much you want to apply to own writing.

Beneficial new writers tool
She has given us the tool and declared, get the job done. This book is a great tool that I will use. A book that I will revisit whenever I need clarification and help fine tuning an idea. It is written in a clear and easy to follow footpath.
