Summary
I created this book to share what I have learned about an incredibly powerful tool - SSAS (small self-administered scheme) pension. This tool has enabled me to take control over my pension wealth and legacy.
Prior to this, I had a corporate pension and expected to just take the regular payments each month when I retired as that’s what everyone does, don’t they? Well no, as I was to discover. I found I could transfer the value of my corporate pension into a SSAS, a scheme I had full control over to decide on what and where I invested the funds.
It could also be completely intact for my children and grandchildren to benefit from when I left this earthly plane. It has the potential to build a true wealth and personal legacy via a journey of real impact investing.
Managing a SSAS pension is like running a business and could allow you to release the true power of your pension, and is a way you can legally place assets outside of your estate for inheritance tax purposes.
By listening to this book, you will be shown the various ways a SSAS pension can help you do this, and it will also educate you to ask the right questions of your professional advisors. When used in the right way, the information in this book has the potential to be positively life-changing for you, your family, and, perhaps, people you don’t even know yet.

SSAS - essential if not easy listening
Very valuable insight, which I’ve been grateful to learn. I appreciate Richard producing the book, and despite the dry subject his case studies have helped to highlight the elements we need to be aware of before considering a SSAS option. I now feel able to at least start a conversation with an advisor towards starting our own journey and won’t seem completely green when they mention the options available alongside the work required.
Thanks Richard
