Amazing Regency Romance
This was narrated well, plotted well and flew by really well!
Not your traditional HAE, which made it just perfect!

An entertaining escape from life's daily chores!
Would you consider the audio edition of Rushed to the Altar to be better than the print version?
I really enjoyed this audio version. The narrator was excellent. One of the reasons I chose this book was because I enjoyed Jill Tanner's reading of The Crimson Petal and the White and I was not disappointed.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Melissa was a great character. Strong willed and determined, she didn't disappoint and rose to every challenge with wit, fortitude and courage even when they were totally beyond her previous experiences.
Which scene did you most enjoy?
It is difficult to choose a particular scene as being my favourite. I particularly enjoyed the banter between Clarissa and the Earl. It was plausible, intelligent and creative.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It made me laugh on several occasions and I found the era fascinating.
Any additional comments?
I really enjoyed this book. I listen to Audible books regularly when cooking, ironing, digging the weeds etc. and this is one of the best this year.

Rushed to the Altar
I've never heard of this author but thought I'd give this book a try. I'm so glad I did. This is a romance and an adventure story rolled into one. The author has clearly researched the period meticulously which added even more interest to the novel.
I felt the characters were well drawn and the story moved along at a good pace. I cared about the characters especially the heroine Clarissa who does not lack spirit or courage in her quest to trace her missing brother.
The narrator is excellent and I think that her ability to mimic accents added to the reading.
If you are a fan of good romantic fiction then you will enjoy this book.
