About this listen
From USA Today and Wall Street Journal best-selling author L A Cotton comes an emotional enemies-to-lovers romance.
Angst...drama...friendship...and football. Will you survive senior year?
Ashleigh Chase has always had big dreams.
But when she wakes up in hospital with no memory of how she got there, her bright future dissolves around her.
Ezra Bennet has always felt like the odd one out.
But this time, he really screwed up and he has no choice but to face the consequences.
Forced to retake their senior year, Ashleigh turns to Ezra only to find him cold and cruel and determined to keep her at arm's length.
He's the guy she always wanted.
She's the girl who was never good enough for him.
But now there's a secret between them, one that she's determined to uncover.
She thinks she can save him. But she doesn't realize yet....
He's the one who ruined her.

Loved this couple
High School football stories aren't usually my thing, and in Rixon, football is religion but that somehow works in this series.
Book 3 in the Rixon High series focuses on Ashleigh Chase trying to put her life back together after an accident has wiped out the last 10 months of her past. All she knows is it's high school for senior year all over again, college won't be happening for a while and the boy who has always had her hear, Ezra Bennett acts like she's the last person he wants to be around. Loved the connection between these two. The memory loss was handled very well, and it was a great to relax with this story doing mindfulness colouring and enjoying some silly high school drama, though Ezra's childhood was anything but sparkles and rainbows.
Narration by Heather Firth was a lovely surprise, I've followed her Oklahoma Wastelands series and she's a firm favorite of mine, Jeffrey Holz does a brilliant job narrating the male POV of Ezra, his Ashleigh voice though did have me in giggles.
I reccommend for anyone seeking a lighthearted fun listen.

One of the best rollercoaster of emotions ever!
I gave it absolutely 5 stars!

Loved the audio, so easy to listen to.
I really enjoyed Ezra and Ashleigh story and it was a very slow burn book. If that what your looking for this book for you.
I am so excited for The twin stories, I think Arron might be my favourite but only time will tell.
Loving seeing their dad and mam being themselves in the book. I love a bonus story of how they felt with what happened. Maybe in group some day as a treat!

Ashleigh and Ezra
This is Ashleigh and Ezra´s story, it's a slow burn, which I love if done well and this one is good, still I would've wanted more development. The angst, chemistry, and everything within their relationship will keep you reading. I liked Ezra more than I expected, his past was a good surprise in the story development. These Rixon High characters are great, can't wait for the next book.

Do-over
Ezra is a complex guy with a troubled past. He doesn’t let people in. When he fails high school his adopted parents encourage him to resit the year. A do-over isn’t what he thinks he needs but pressing reset might just help him find his way.
Ashleigh is the girl who’s survived a bad accident. Ezra was in the car with her but walked away unharmed. Unfortunately Ashleigh wasn’t so lucky; she’s lost her memory of senior year. Repeating high school is what her parents think is best for her but she knows theirs something being kept from her. Can being held back help her move forward?
This is a story of magnets and a bond that can’t be broken. They say times a healer but so is love. Ezra and Ashleigh’s story is full of angsty. It’s hard to repeat senior year but hopefully they both can find what they truly want.
I really enjoyed this. I love the Rixon world and everyone in it.

Top 2021 read, Top 2022 Audio!!!
I read this last year and absolutely loves it, listening to it on audio, the narrators brought Ezra and Ashleigh to life, the emotions were so much more prominent it gave me goosebumps.
The enigma that is Ezra. He's anyways intrigued me, quiet and withdrawn, Always watching, never taking part. I warmed up to him quite quickly I absolutely love love love him.
Ashleigh, ive loved her for a while but damn my heart broke for her so many times for many different reasons.
Once I started I couldn't stop, from cover to cover I read it in one sitting.
This book has it all and that's why I love this author, love, loss and heartbreak, anger, angst and confusion.
The emotions flowed off the page and hit me right in the heart.
