Summary
Stuck in an alternate universe during World War II, Lieutenant Commander Matthew Reddy of the U.S.S. Walker has found an unlikely but invaluable ally in Commodore Jenks of the New Britain Imperial Navy. I have never contemplated returning a book .......
What would have made Rising Tides better?
Difficult to say I could not get into the book and am unlikley to finish it
Has Rising Tides put you off other books in this genre?
I will try others but NOT in this series
You didn’t love this book--but did it have any redeeming qualities?
The alternative Earth story is something that has some attraction for me.
Any additional comments?
I rarely do not finish a book even if it is tedious and predictable. With this book I feel that there is nothing in the plot that I can associate with. Maybe if I had read earlier books in the series I would view it differently but I doubt it.
