About this listen

Ribo Quadrilobe is a mystery where nobody dies. Ribo Quadrilobe is the quintessential robot. Ribo has no desire to become a human. He is an investigator pursuing the case of one Hannah H. Harvester. Hannah is a human doctor who has a super high percentage of patients who recover. Is Hannah violating the law which forbids her to use her religion and faith when practicing science? Will Ribo judge Hannah innocent or guilty? Will they fall in love?

Ribo Quadrilobe is not a religious book. On the other hand it does take a close look at separation of church and state. I'm a firm believer in that concept, but how far should that separation go? Join Ribo for a breakfast of banana pancakes, and watch him reach his fullest potential with help from Hannah. Laugh at him being overly logical. See things from a Robo's perspective.

"Old robots don't die they simply pull the plug."
A strange short story of a robot, Ribo Quadrilube, an investigator charge with looking into the practices of Hannah, a more than usually successful healer. As time passes, the society around them changes, and so does Ribo Quadrilube.
The tale is told in the first person from the robot perspective and performed by Gareth Johnson almost too well as, initially, the mechanical aspect of his voice made it difficult for this reader to want to continue. But it does get easier and his changes in both pace and presentation were well done.

At my request, I received a freely gifted complementary copy of Ribo Quadrilobe: the Healer is Judged for a rights holder via Free Audiobook Codes. Thank you. An interesting bok set in a fairly distant future allowing the reader to make their own conclusions on activities in socio political life then, and today. Interesting, short and, after the initial robotic voice shock, an easy and thought provoking read
